• Friday night before the festival began, the band played an extended sound check and broadcast the entire jam the radio for everyone who was stuck in traffic to enjoy
   
• Saturday night at 2AM the band magically appeared atop the control tower of the former Loring Air Force Base and played an improvisational set while the tower was bathed in lights and dancers on rappel lines swirled in synch with the music and lights
